Following the recent announcement by the Inland Revenue Board Malaysia (IRBM) regarding the mandatory implementation of e-invoicing for all businesses, we are in the process of gathering the necessary information to ensure full compliance with these new regulations.
To facilitate a seamless transition and ensure our adherence to the e-invoicing requirements, we kindly request your cooperation in providing the required details by 31 October 2024. Your prompt response will help us streamline our processes and integrate the e-invoicing system efficiently.
In Malaysia, both individuals and entities who are registered taxpayers with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) are assigned with a Tax Identification Number (TIN) known as “Nombor Pengenalan Cukai”.
TIN registered with IRBM can be retrieved through one of the following methods:
Check from "e-Daftar" menu (without login to MyTax Portal) https://mytax.hasil.gov.my
Login to MyTax Portal https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/ or Contact the HASiL Contact Centre (03-8911 1000) or Visit the nearest LHDNM offices

For the issuance of e-invoice, please provide the information below:
Please submit the required information here : https://business.celcomdigi.com/lhdn-e-invoicing-consumers
Please submit the mandatory information by 31 December 2024. This timeline is required for CelcomDigi to handle preparations required for the issuance of e-invoice to you
If the mandatory information requested is not provided or inaccurate, IRBM will reject your e-invoice during its validation. Consequently, CelcomDigi will not be able to issue a validated e-invoice that your company may require for tax deduction. However, CelcomDigi will continue to issue the usual invoice without IRBM's validation to you for payment purposes
CelcomDigi has received concession from IRBM to issue e-invoice by 1 July 2025, but we endeavor to implement issuance of e-invoices progressively. We will get in touch with you when the e-invoices are ready. During this interim period, please be assured that you will continue to receive your current invoices as usual.
